American Manganese Inc. (“American Manganese” or the “Company”), (TSX.V:  AMY; Pink Sheets:  AMYZF; Frankfurt:  2AM), announces the Company has accepted the resignation of Kenneth Wright as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), who has resigned effective October 30, 2012 for personal reasons.  The Company thanks Mr. Wright for the contributions he made to the Company while CFO.

The Company has appointed Mr. Shaheem Ali, BBA, as acting CFO.  Mr. Ali has been the Company’s Accounting Controller for the past five years.
